CHILDREN UNDER 4 can only go in our QUAD ISLANDS. You must provide a life jacket for children under 4 as our lifejackets are for 4+. Life jackets are recommended for all children ages 8 years and younger, as well as for all weak, inexperienced, or non-swimmers. All non-swimmers and anyone who is afraid of the channel should NOT go tubing. You must exit the channel yourself, by following safety signage to move to the right after the 3rd bridge. There are NO LIFEGUARDS, enter and exit the channel at your own risk. The stairs at the end point exit are VERY slippery.

If you would like to float the entire way to the end, please arrive by 3:15pm as you must be in the water by 3:30pm. All floaters after 3:30pm must exit at the mid-point. Last floaters must be in the water by 4:30pm. The last shuttle pick-up varies based on water flow speed but is usually 6:30pm (please ask before getting in the water).

You’ll start at 215 Riverside Drive, Penticton. Once you arrive, come on up to ticketing (north building) to purchase your tube/bus ticket. Then head over to the Coyote Den (south building) to sign our waiver and pick up your tube. You can choose between single and double tubes or 4, 8, or 12-person party islands. We sell 5L & 20L Dry bags as well as waterproof iPhone bags for your valuables.

Times vary depending on channel water flow. 2023 is taking 3 hours to the end point and 1.5 hours to the mid point. Plan to be in the water starting your float by 3:30pm if you would like to float to the end. All floaters after 3:30pm must exit at the mid point.
-
You’re about to enter the water so all items SHOULD BE STORED IN A DRY BAG. We sell 5L & 20L Dry bags as well as waterproof iPhone bags for your valuables.

NO. Tubers tying themselves into a big flotilla can be very dangerous around our bridges. Accidents on the channel from tying tubes together has resulted in near-drowning and deaths.
-
Last pick up varies but usually 6:30PM.
-
Yes we can if you have a pre-purchased wristband/ticket from our starting point at 215 Riverside Drive or from our tent at END POINT. Our staff at END can only accept card payment (no cash). Our bus drivers cannot accept payment.
-
It runs constantly from 12pm onwards. Turn around time for the shuttle is around 15 minutes, with stops at the end point and a return to the start.
-
When you book online you can head straight to the tube shack. If you’d prefer to do same day, then reservations are not needed for singles or doubles. If you are renting 4, 8 or 12-person party islands (these are our quads that can be safely linked together to create an 8 or 12 person island) you will need to book in advance through our online booking software.
-
CHILDREN under 4 can only go in our QUAD islands with their own, fitted life jacket. We provide lifejackets at no charge for 4+ to anyone renting our tubes.

When we experience wind, everyone must get out at the MID-POINT. Unfortunately, strong winds make it impossible for our tubes to complete the entire float. This can happen at any time so please be prepared to be taken out at the mid-point.
